And the robots, of course, will only be as sound and reliable as they are programmed to be; due to the limits of, say, neural networks and the like, they are sorely tested by new information. There are applications for the robots, however, including monetary rules instead of discretionary monetary policy. That'd work smoothly.

So here's the situation: the world is a bloody mess. People are out of their bloody minds. This is why I heartily endorse a peaceful takeover by the robots. Benevolent robots, mind you. For heaven's sake, they couldn't possibly do a worse job that most of the lousy kleptocrats ruling most of the developing world.
